Daughters: Women's Ministry
Though we are all at different ages and stages of life, we all have a common bond that brings us together: we are daughters of the King! All women are invited to join us at our events and gatherings throughout the year. We have several ways you can get involved.
"WHAT IF we had some conversations and let God be God, directing and equipping women to live in ways that magnify Him? WHAT IF we set aside our preconceived notions and just gathered to listen and obey Him? What IF?" - Angie Smith
An IF:Table consists of 6 women, 4 questions, and 2 hours. Each table meets once per month at a home and the hostess provides dinner. During your time together, you answer four questions as a group that lead you toward a deeper connection with God or help you to see how He is moving in your life. Each group ends with prayer.
These tables are a beautiful and simple time to build meaningful relationships with other women in our church. Everyone is welcome, no matter their age, in fact, these groups are multi-generational!
Email us to sign up and we will connect you with a table that meets at a date and time that will work with your schedule.
"Out to Lunch": Women's Luncheon
On the second Wednesday of each month, we invite all women to join us to go "out to lunch!" This is an opportunity for you to connect with other women over great food and conversation. We are currently meeting at the Village Inn on E. Bell Rd. For more information contact Connecting Director Assistant, Krystle Porter.
Bless & Be Blessed
Do you know of someone in our church family that we can help out? Let us know! Fill out our new submission form and let us know how we can help. Cleaning, organizing, preparing meals for new moms, moving help...these are just some of the ways you can get involved with helping those in our church family! Contact Krystle Porter, Connecting Director Assistant, if you have any questions or a special gift you can contribute to serve.
Ladies' Hike & Brunch
Saturday, September 16, 8 a.m. @ Thunderbird Conservation Park & the Porters' Home
All ladies are invited to join us for a morning hike with brunch to follow! We will be hiking Thunderbird Mountain Preserve in two groups--one at a slower/easier pace and another for more adventurous/experienced hikers. After the hike, we will head to the Porters' home and enjoy brunch and time to get to know each other better. Please RSVP to Krystle Porter, Connecting Director Assistant, so we can plan accordingly for food. We look forward to seeing you there!
